Meet Our Staff
Rachel, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Rachel started at GBVH in 2006. She is married and has two active boys at home. She has a Bachelors of Science from MSU in 2007, and subsequently obtained her LVT license from Baker College.
Outside of work, she is usually busy with kid’s activities and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys spending time outdoors and loves crafting and sewing.

Outside of work she enjoys camping and spending time with friends and family.
Savannah, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Savannah joined the GBVH team in 2023. Working alongside our doctors to help patients get better is an incredibly rewarding experience for her and what she enjoys most about the profession.
Eva, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Eva started working for GBVH in 2024 after she completed an externship with us as a student and graduated from Baker College. Eva enjoys building relationships and being able to connect with clients.
Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, biking, and spending time with family and friends.

Vanessa
Veterinary Assistant
Vanessa started work at GBVH in 2013. She was drawn to the profession due to her desire to help pets and their families as much as possible. She has several pets at home. Outside of work she enjoys camping and spending quality time with her children.
Garrett
Veterinary Assistant
Garrett started in a kennel attendant position in 2021 and has moved to becoming an assistant. He comes from a family background in veterinary medicine.
He enjoys that the patients he sees are cute and cuddly. He has one very floofy cat at home, Autumn. Outside of work he enjoys wildlife photography.
Sarah
Veterinary Assistant
Sarah began working with us in 2022 with a background in emergency veterinary care. She enjoys being able to see the same clients and patients and getting to know them and seeing them get better.
Outside of work she likes photography and reading. She has 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 bearded dragons, a ball python, and a rabbit.
Taylor
Veterinary Assistant
Taylor began working at Grand Blanc Vet in 2023. She is married and has one daughter along with two dogs and one horse. Working in the veterinary field has always been an interest and a passion of hers.
Her goal is to continue growing relationships with clients and their pets. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors with her family making memories and trail riding with her daughter.

Katelin began working at Grand Blanc Vet in 2023.

Kati started working at GBVH in 2024.
Shirley
Receptionist
Longtime clients of GBVH will know that Shirley has been around since 1985. The clinic is lucky to still have Shirley working part time. She has been fortunate to get to know a lot of clients and their pets over the years and she still enjoys helping our clients on the happy days of owning a pet and helping through the sad days as well.
She has 2 cats and 1 dog at home now. In her spare time she likes the Drum Alive class and the yoga class she takes through the Senior Center. She also enjoys being active in her church, reading, and crocheting.
Brecken
Receptionist
Brecken started at GBVH in 2014. To her, the most rewarding part of the job is developing rapport and relationships with clients. Getting to know their names and pet's names, being there for them through good times and sad times, and everything in between.
She has one dog at home named Patrick. Her hobbies and interests include photography, bike riding, scrapbooking, jet-skiing, kayaking, fishing, traveling, camping, going up north, spending time with family and friends.
Melissa
Receptionist
Melissa started with GBVH in 2021. She enjoys taking care of patients needs in any way possible. She has two cats named Charlie and Alex.
Her hobbies include reading, listening to music, and spending time with her granddaughter.

Alana began working at Grand Blanc Vet in 2026
Tiberious
Chief Medical Officer
Tiberious came to GBVH in 2012 as an unwanted stray. He has since climbed the ladder to assume complete control of the facility.
In his leisure time (which is all the time) he enjoys greeting patients as they arrive, sleeping, eating, and sleeping some more.
